Sponsor a Room is a practical way you can support unseen(uk)'s work with the survivors of Human Trafficking.

Sponsoring a Room allows you to directly play a part in providing safety, hope and choice for exploited women.
 
Sponsor a Room
This programme gives you, your company, your friends and your community the opportunity to sponsor and support unseen(uk)'s 24 hour support services and more importantly the women accessing our services on an on-going basis.
 
Your donation will go directly to contributing towards survivors living costs and allow them to access all the services unseen(uk) provides.
 
Sponsoring a room can be done individually or as a group.
 
Through Sponsoring a Room you are directly investing in and helping survivors of trafficking.
 



What happens to Survivors?
The majority of survivors will be referred into unseen(uk)’s services via other agencies. Unfortunately, due to their uncertain immigration status survivors will not be able to access public funds to support themselves.
 
unseen(uk) is therefore responsible for funding everything a survivor requires whilst they are with us and longer term if they are granted leave to remain in the UK.

unseen(uk) will provide survivors safe, secure accommodation as well as access to a range of necessary services, including:
-medical care and treatment
-counselling
-legal advice and assistance
-holistic therapy sessions
-education
-immigration advice
-access to interpreters

How can you sponsor a room?
unseen(uk) believes that everyone can contribute to this programme.

As a starting figure we ask you to consider pledging £2.50 per week for a year to unseen(uk) – that’s the equivalent of buying one coffee or a pint of beer. By donating on a weekly basis you will be directly impacting the support services unseen(uk) can deliver to the survivors we work with.
 
If all our supporters gave £2.50 per week for a year we would be able to support up to 5 women per room per year– lots of people giving a little bit makes a lot of impact and enables survivors to access the support they need after experiencing the horrors of having been trafficked.
 
Why not go a step further?
If you can gather 50 friends, family, colleagues who are all willing to contribute £5 per week for a year you can sponsor one room for a whole year – that’s up to five survivors of trafficking being impacted because of your donations.
 
How to Sponsor a Room
The easiest way to ‘Sponsor a Room’ is to set up a direct debit from your account to unseen(uk) – you can set this up to be transferred weekly, monthly or as a once off annual payment, it is up to you.
