Local Churches Information Evening
7.30-9pmHuman Trafficking is the most shameful crime of this generation; it is the movement of people by means such as force, fraud or deception, with the aim of exploiting them.
It is modern day slavery!
The UK is a major destination for victims of human trafficking sold into the sex trade, and Bristol is no exception to these practices."I have indeed seen the misery of my people in Egypt. I have heard them crying out because of their slave drivers, and I am concerned about their suffering. So I have come down to rescue them..." (Ex. 3 v7-8 NIV)
unseen(uk), with the support of Stop The Traffik, is hosting an information evening giving you the opportunity to:
• Learn about worldwide and local forms of human trafficking.• Hear how unseen(uk) are working in Bristol against human trafficking and seeking to provide relief for survivors.
• Discover how you, your communities and the Church can bring about freedom.
