Doubling donations for the Men’s Safehouse

Unseen is raising awareness for the men who are often misrepresented when we talk about modern slavery and the huge need to fund services for male survivors. Shame about their exploitation means that men often struggle considerably more to express emotional vulnerability and to seek help.

To highlight the plight of men in modern slavery we have been sharing Frank’s moving story with you. Frank is a brave survivor who was exploited and starved for four years before being dumped by the roadside by his traffickers. Read Frank’s full story recounted in his own words.

Frank's story is the focus of Unseen’s current Big Give Appeal.

One donation, twice the impact

This Christmas, Unseen is taking part in The Big Give, to help raise vital funds for the Unseen Men’s Safehouse. Where male survivors can receive the respite, care and support they need to recover and take the next steps forward to move on with their lives. Survivors like Frank, who has been able to start rebuilding his life with support from our Safehouse and is now helping others.

Until midday Tuesday 4th December, donations made to Unseen via @BigGive will be DOUBLED – so your donation will have twice the impact.

Please help us to reach our target and donate via The Big Give now and see a donation of £200 be doubled to £400, paying for 6 months of food for all of the men at the Safehouse. Whatever you can afford please give to this vital service and help more men to find their freedom.

Be sure to follow our @BigGive #ChristmasAppeal18 on Unseen's social media and see how close we are to reaching our target - Twitter, Facebook and Instragram
