Unseen Wins Equality & Inclusion Campaign

Unseen's 'Be Seen, Be Heard' campaign has won the Campaigns for Good Awards 'Best Equality & Inclusion Cause Campaign'.

The joint campaign, working alongside warehouse and production recruitment firm PMP Recruitment, aimed to help raise awareness of modern slavery in industries at risk of forced labour and exploitation.

Since the launch of Be Seen, Be Heard, PMP have encouraged invested parties to wear high visibility jackets (and other equipment), printed with the Modern Slavery Helpline number in a bid to increase awareness of forced labour and empower businesses to unite, support their workforce and report suspected cases.

All profits from sales of helpline-branded merchandise was donated to Unseen to further support survivors.

There was a 26 per cent increase in calls, online reports and app submissions to the Modern Slavery Helpline following the campaign launch, versus the previous year. In total, 4,525 victims were identified through the Helpline following the campaign.

Over half were trapped in forced labour.

We are now providing training and consultancy for several FTSE 100 companies, who have started fundraising initiatives to support survivors.
