BE SEEN BE HEARD

On World Day against Trafficking in Persons, Unseen and our partner PMP Recruitment launched the Be Seen, Be Heard campaign.

Many industries are at risk of being targeted by traffickers, who control groups of workers, usually through threats or physical or mental abuse. PMP decided to raise awareness of this by promoting the Modern Slavery Helpline so that employees, clients and the wider industry know who to turn to if they’re worried about slavery and exploitation in their operations.

Since the launch of Be Seen, Be Heard, PMP have encouraged invested parties to wear high visibility jackets (and other equipment), printed with the Helpline number in a bid to increase awareness of forced labour and empower businesses to unite, support their workforce and report suspected cases.

Now, on Anti-Slavery Day, we are asking businesses to help stamp out forced labour in the sector and join the campaign.
